About David E. Pearce
I enjoy the technical challenge of all photography but get the most satisfaction from scenic landscapes. My wife Maria and I are able to travel once or twice a year to various places in North America where she tolerates me tripping through forests, streams and mountains in pursuit of the perfect picture. This includes the times when I've tumbled down the boulder-strewn incline or fallen into the thorns while positioning the tripod in just the right place. I'm blessed that Maria supports this photo passion, enduring very early mornings, late evenings, and a ton of driving and hiking.
My gear is a Canon 1Ds Mark III with 16-35, 24-105, and 70-200 Canon L series zoom lenses and a Sigma 180mm macro lens. I use B+W & Heliopan polarizers, Singh-Ray 4x6 graduated neutral density filters, and a Manfrotto 055MF3 mag fiber tripod with 468MGRC2 hydrostatic and 322RC2 grip ball heads. I edit using Photoshop CS3.
God has blessed me to be able to enjoy His scenery. Its a joy to try capture a piece of the color and grandeur He puts in front of my lens.
