Cherry Pond's Crimson Edge
Tokina 28-70mm, 2 stop grad ND filter, Fuji Velvia, f16 hyperfocal. I wore snowshoes during this venture to the Pond's edge to prevent sinking into the peat bog. Another special morning at the Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge.

You are so brave to wear snow shoes into a bog with your camera and gear but it sooooooooo paid off!

What an outstanding landscape this is.

Great job, Harry - love the light, the mood, the colors, and the depth you created with that foreground foliage! Snowshoes in a bog...well that's a first but what a great idea. Beats rubber boots from being sucked off your feet...

I know and love this place well, Harry; this is a stunning image! Love the way the bright red foliage points toward the mountains.
