Karen you do deserve the Silvers you got they are both full of emotion. Especially this one. I have friends whose names are on that wall. As you know I spent 26 years in the Army. I dodged commenting earlier because of the ties. I always said that if you can capture emotion or evoke it with an image, you have accomplished the ultimate goal, you certainly have done it here with me at least.

Receiving a finalist is always a wonderful surprise for me. I thank you all very much for taking the time to send the kind words. Special thanks to you Ron, and the other important people who have served our country. These memorials are extremely moving as you stand before them and think about the lives that were sacrificed for all of us. My family and I were in tears many times during our visit to D.C. May we never forget!

Wonderful capture and congrats .I also have a photo of the corner , because my friend Edgar Moran was killed after the war was over , during the Mayaquez capture . So he and the men killed were the last to be put on the wall .
