image numbers I just entered an image and I've received 3 email notifications of comments, but only one comment is showing. The email refer to image #1767603 and 1767604. To those who have commented on my image, I thank you, but I can't see your comments. Jim, is this an ongoing problem, and will it be fixed? Thank you.

Teresa, I'm not sure, but it's seemed as though when people comment on an image that's been uploaded but isn't showing in your gallery or in the contest, then you change it to displaying and enter the contest, the previous comments go away. Until recently I thought I could upload an image and as long as I didn't click "Display" only I could see it and I could decide if I wanted to make changes, but I've found everybody can see them in the recently uploaded and comment on them there. I know Su Sana often says her comment has disappeared and I think she must be watching the uploads rather than the contest. That may be what happened with yours since you have two numbers. Wish we could upload test images and not have everybody see them until we're sure they're presentable! ;)

Thanks Janet. That sounds like you are right about what’s happenings. And I’m with you, I would like to be able to upload and check my image before anyone else could see it. I don’t change them often, but every once in a while I feel like the image just needs a bit more tweaking!

Exactly! It's like typesetting. The typos don't show until they're in print. Same with little things about an image when it's uploaded and everybody can see it. ;)
