Presentation of Before and After Shots

I have a question about the upcoming February Techniques subtopic: "Your Best before and after Improvement"

How are we supposed to present this. The only way we can present so that the judge can see and evaluate together is as a diptych (side by side or one over the other). That could be fun, but historically BP has not favored diptychs or triptychs, so I just want to be sure. We can't upload them so that they display next to one another in recent entries even if we upload them back to back on consecutive days or move them around so they are together in our galleries. Besides, given the vertical collage gallery display, that wouldn't be very effective, anyway.

  Hi Nikki,

Thanks for asking!

Yes, in this can the two-in-one composite would be perfectly fine.

You can also just show the After photo (as long as you write about the improvement you made).

For any others who did not see this in the FB group:

Celebrate by sharing a "before and after" composite of your biggest improvement (since we are all about bettering)! If you no longer have a Before photo for Option B, simply upload your favorite image and tell us how you improved it in the Description and/or Title when you upload.

So...

If you can do a composite, I recommend it - but two vertical photos side by side to make something like a landscape (or square)... or put two horizontal photos into one vertical (or square) format.

Have fun!

  Thanks, Jim.
Hadn't seen this as I'm no longer getting regular notifications from BP, so disregard my comment about "no answer" that I made in Facebook this morning. I tried to go back and edit that part out as it's wrong, but now I can't even find the group LOL
Just put a diptych in myself.

My statement about the "no answer" on Facebook this morning is irrelevant because I stopped receiving frequent notifications from BP and hadn't seen this. I attempted to remove the incorrect section by going back and editing it, but now I am unable to locate the relevant group.
