HELP!! My Photoshop won't display

All of a sudden my PS7 won't display. When I start it, I can see it go through all the scanning for plug-ins and all that stuff but when it gets to the end it disappears! I have absolutely no idea what I've done (if anything)..I'm in serious need of some advice..I don't wnat to have to uninstall and reinstall because some of my old plugins are no longer available.
HELP ME!

Just bumping this back to the top..I might also mention that when it went missing, I had just restarted after installing windows updates. (I have Vista)
I went ahead and ran my plugin folder and also the filters folder onto a CD hoping that I can save them that way.

I don't have Vista but sometimes I do have to double click in order to get an image to come up. Overall I do find PSE 7 slower than PSE4 but I love the improvements in it.

Thanks, Lynn..I did get it working..It was a matter of holding down the control/alt/shift at the same time and then restarting which gave me the option of reverting to original settings..I have no idea how it got off the original settings in the first place, but it's ok now. Thanks to Ron G. and Murry G. for their help!
