Swarit, Did you send a photograph into *their* "contest?" [This is NOT the BetterPhoto contest.] The subject of the "International Library of Photography" comes up here and on other forums periodically (indeed, with great regularity). Must be that time of year again when they're looking for people to buy another book from them. In my opinion, the International Library of Photography is more in the business of selling books to people who have their photographs in it for about $90 than anything else. Although there are some very excellent photographs in it, it seems anyone and everyone who sends them a photograph is somehow "selected" for it, and then receives an offer to buy their book containing the photograph for about $90. This is called "vanity press" and falls into the same category as the massive "Who's Who of [fill in education level or favorite profession here]." If you need to contact the International Library of Photography, here's the name, address, and email for them: Mark Jones The company apparently also does business under the name of "Watermark Press" as it has the same address. It's not uncommon for a publisher to publish books under more than one name. -- John
