Pentax A3000 Problem

I have a Pentax A3000 that I've owned since I was 15. It's a great camera, but recently it's developed a problem.
When I press the button, the shutter doesn't open, and the film advance motor keeps whirring, and there's a clicking noise.
Anyone know what might be causing this, and how I might go about getting it fixed?

I would take it to your local camera shop, not the place with the art deco frames and generic film, I mean a place with Ilford film and developer on the shelf, a tried and true, reputable camera shop. They should be able to give you a good idea.
