Photography Question

Using Teleconverter

I have a Quantaray 2x teleconverter. I can't tell the difference between photos taken with and photos taken without it on my Nikon D70. The zoom range looks exactly the same. Any idea why?

  that's pretty much an impossibility.
you really need to do some self tests.it won't turn your lens into a telescope but there has to be a difference no matter what the brand.
re-check your settings when shooting.it's possible your framing the same and,an assumption here, your using less focal length.
since I also asumme you've lost auto focus, maybe while manual focusing your also changing your focal length.
looks or is,hmmmm,sam

  Maybe it's counterfeit.
Where'd you buy it?

What lens are you using with it? I've read that shorter focal-length lenses won't work with a teleconverter. I haven't tried it, so I don't know exactly what would happen.

If she can connect it than it should work as far as increasing the focal length. Or at least seeing a difference.
