Scary DOF Preview Button issue I'm hoping this will just be a dumb question and not an "oh no you better send that in" kind of question. I have a Nikon D70s and this morning when I was using the DOF preview button, the shutter made a much louder sound and the viewfinder went completely (opaque) black. I tried it again, and it worked normally. This happened a few times in the space of a few minutes. I came in the house and fooled around with it, trying to get it to happen again under more controlled conditions but it hasn't. I'm wondering if dust and debris inside the camera could be making the mirror stick? I haven't cleaned it, other than using the blower bulb occasionally.

Well, duh...! I thought it wasn't a case of severe underexposure .... but it was. To quote Gilda Radner ..... "Nevermind!" ;)
