Photography Question

Favorite Nikon 35mm??

Hi all,
How many people have a favorite Nikon camera body?

I was just curious because I noticed I've been leaning towards one camera body of late.

I was using my N70 and FG for all my outdoor shots. Now I find I'm packing my FE2 everytime I head out. I love this camera.

Anyone else?

A Nikon FE and two FM2's have been in my arsenal since the mid-eighties.

The FE is used for most of my bellows work and the FM2's handle everything else.

  Hi Bob,
I love the pics on your site. Great shots.

FM2's are nice sturdy cameras. I currently dont own a body but have been giving a purchase strong thought.

FM2, FM2n and especially the FM3a. Right as film cameras reached a near peak of perfection, they're gone.

...but most of those that are still around are performing the same as when they were acquired 20+ years ago.

The longevity and reliability of these workhorses cannot possibly be equalled in today's market.

I still carry a N90S in my backpack loaded with Velvia, even though I now use a D200 most of the time. I cut my teeth on a Nikkormat in the 70s. I still have it and it is in like new condition. They both are good dependable friends.

I just had my FE2 tested. The camera is "SPOT ON". Nikon made some great rugged cameras in the day.

My little FG performs like new. This camera is VERY under rated. It may not be the best at anything but it sure can do most anything. This is the camera I learned on and I still love it.

  Nikon F-5 HP.

Great cam, although it hasn't sen a role in a few years.

I've been using a few Nikon F-2A's with motor drives and an arsenal of lenses since the early 1980's. I think you can also use them to pound in fence posts with. (Don't try that at home kids). But they truly don't make'em like this anymore. ;>)

Looked at niko.com and I love their dual foundations. Especially the cocoa.
