Product Shots without Shadows

How do you get rid of all the shadows on product close-ups, with a white background? What do you suggest using for an extremely white background? Thanks.

The best way to reduce shadows is to increase the number of light sources or just rearrange them until one cancels the other. I usually find that two is enough, both at something like a 45 degree angle, one slightly hotter than the other.
For a white background, I recommend the Artic White seamless. You can order this from Glazer's Camera Supply.
