Elan II vs Elan 7 Flash esposures
Does anyone know if there is any difference in the flash metering and flash exposures between the Elan models II and 7? Specifically I'm wondering if the Elan II works in ETTL mode, and works with the wireless ST-E2 transmitter. I know the Elan 7 supports this, but not sure on the Elan II.

The Elan II/IIe (50/50e) is E-TTL compatable, but it's evaluative meter is 6 segment v. 35 segment for the Elan 7/7e (30/30e). The ST-E2 can be used with the Elan II and any other E-TTL EOS body. -Jon
