January 2012 Countdown Thread Hi Everyone! Happy almost Valentine's Day! Everyone grab your favorite chocolate and a beverage of your choosing and let's see what's in store this month. It's Leap Year, but with February still being a short month, I thought maybe I should get a jump on posting this thread. Never know what the judges might have in mind. I look forward every month to seeing which favorites you all choose!

Hmmm... I don't have any for the current February yet, but I can tell you that past years' results for January contests have come out on February 10th, 19th, 23rd, 22nd, 24th and 21st, respectively. (So I'd say we're hopefully due to get Finalists today!) Every February contest in my records, has fewer entries than the January preceding it (of course, most February's are 3 days shorter, too.) And the average % of January entries to make Finalist, for the past 6 Januarys is 3.25%.

...Usman, a Sunday release is a pretty rare thing---only 6 times in the last 75 months! (Saturday, however, is the rarest---with only 4 times!) Fingers crossed that silver turns to gold!
