Creating double photo on JPEG

I use Abobe photodeluxe business and Dazzle software as well as MGI Photosuite. I cannot figure out how to combine two photos onto one page or should I say side by side as one JPEG. I don't even know if it can be done with my software. I want to create a before and after in one image. Any ideas or suggestions. Do I need different software?

I would think that any version of photoshop would have it. If you have layers tools and duplicatiion tools, or area selection tools you can do it.

Guess I'll just tell you how I would do it.
You can have your two photos or not to begin with.
Under File, select new, to get a background(color of your choice) that's big enough to fit two pictures.
Choose first photo, and go to Select and choose select all, or you can use ctrl-A, to select the whole area of the photo.
Copy or cut, then paste on the new background. You can use the move tool to position. This will create a layer of that image on the new background.
Then you can repeat for the other photo.
Once you have them positioned, you go to Layer, and choose flatten image. Then you save as jpeg.
