Adobe Photoshop CS3 plug-in compatibilty issues

Are Flaming Pear filters, such as the "Flood" filter not compatible with Adobe PS CS3? They do not appear in the drop down menu under "Filters" after I have installed them. They worked fine in Adobe PS CS2. I downloaded the most recent versions from Flaming Pear's website. Has anyone had or resolved this problem? Thanks in advance!

Hi Samantha, try going to Edit>Preferences>Plugins in CS3 and it should give you an option to add an additional plugin folder. Use the browse feature to select the plugin folder for CS2. If you did a standard install, this is going to be on your C drive under Program Files>Adobe>Adobe Photoshop CS2>Plugins. After you select the Plugins file, restart CS3, open a file and check your filters and you should have all filters that were available in CS2.

Thanks for your response, William. I'm just reading this now. I was able to resolve the problem by downloading the most recent versions of the plug-ins from Flaming Pear's website.
