Photography Question

Apriyile D. Vidales

colors dull, and background not bright

Hi this is FOSHEEZY,Thanks to all who
helped.I did go and change my white balance and this is the result. To me its better than the one before.I know I have a loooong way to go.A new problem has arisin, why are the colors in the photo, dull and not bright and or sharp im working with 2-1000 watt.continuous lights should I have them turned to the max for optimum brightness?

For John Sisken you are absolutely right when you say,"I can do alot of practice and work with books,or take a class." I NOW REALIZE THAT I INDEED NEED TO TAKE A CLASS.Thank you for wording it in a way that really hits home.
As of i'm already confused.

First of all, I can't see the photo you uploaded with the question. Second of all, make responses and new photo uploads to the original thread. Third of all, consider using a post-processing program such as Helicon Filter or Photoshop or GIMP and try increasing or modifying highlights, contrast, saturation, etc.
