How to shoot portraits When I shoot some photos with artificial lights. I get the shade of the subject sometimes. I have not been able to ascertain whats the cause. In some of the photos, shade does not appear at. I need your expert advice on this. I am not using any studio equipment. Thanks Pavan

we have no experts, but what's the distance between the subject and the background like in the pictures with the shade versus the pictures without the shade. That is, if you're talking about a shadow on the background.
