Black and white negative scanner
Have some black and white large older negatives I would like to scan and print. Need info on what type of scanner I need. The negative are about 2x4 inches.

The dedicated film scanner you'd need either doesn't exist for this size of film, or is prohibitively expensive. Several flatbeds from Epson, Canon and others can do film sizes larger than 35mm, but need adjustable easels. If you want to do it yourself, google "scanning medium format".
My suggestion - buy a current copy of Shutterbug magazine, look in the back at the photographic services offered and find someone who will scan your negs and put them on a CD. Choose carefully which ones you must have scanned to cut down on the cost.
