External Flash
I am looking at buying an external flash for my Oly. E300. Can anyone tell me what I should be looking for.
I am by no means a pro, but I enjoy what I do. Mostly children, family, landscape....
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Michele,
I have an article here about understanding strobes: www.betterphoto.com/article.php?id=148. This might help. I also teach a class here: Understanding the Tools of Lighting. I suggest that you look at a good manual strobe, like an Alien Bee or a Calumet Travelite. These units have enough power to allow you to control your light and to grow as a photographer.
