Wal-Mart is a large chain of discount stores. Mostly in the US, but recently expanding into Canada, Mexico and elsewhere.

Wal-Mart has pretty much cornered the market in the US, as far as I can see, on reasonable prices. I tried to shop there in a hurry tonight, and "reasonable pricing" is the only good thing I have to say about it right now...

That's okay, you make up for it in paying for the incentives they get from your city council to get them to build the store in the city.
