Non-OEM Batteries

I've got a canon digital rebel. I love it, but I'm looking to pick up a spare battery or two (if possible). However, I'd prefer not to pay the 70 retail price tag.
I was looking on ebay and noticed there are a lot of non-oem batteries available there.
The question I have is are these things any good? I know its a "you get what you pay for world."

I would love to hear any suggestions or comments from those that have purchased non-oem batteries and whether or not they are even worth considering.

Thanks for your time in reading this.
Mark

Hi Mark, I've bought some batteries for my Digital Rebel off eBay, and they're great. They last even longer than the brand name batteries. (I believe that the # of mAh is what determines how long it will last before it needs to be recharged.) Just be careful to buy from a reputable seller.
