Lenses

I have a Canon Digital Rebel with a 50mm and a 70-300 mm zoom (sigma). I am considering buying a teleconverter and a wide angle but I cant seem to find a website or book that can teach me what I need to know to make wise decisions in buying new lenses for this camera. Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Becky

It really depends on what you are going to achieve. Based on the lenses you already have, you have covered a lot of areas. What you may need is a wide angle to normal lens for landscape and normal use. Maybe that 18-55mm lens specifically designed for the D Rebel. The teleconverter will give you longer focal length on the 70-300mm lens for sports and even wildlife photography. Just one more lens you may need is a true macro lens if you want macro photography (or use screw on type close-up lens). Hope this helps.
