Makinon lens, Were sold in the 1980's they were consumer grade I tried one out and was not impressed with it, Your $$$ would be better spent on a better quality lens.Go to the 3rd party lens page this may help. http://medfmt.8k.com/third/ Regards John Papandreou Studio 23

The Nikkor 28mm f2.8 AIS is one of the best 28's made by anyone. The 85 f2 is likewise excellent. Nikon never made a bad 50mm. If you must have a zoom, try a Nikon. See keh.com for prices on good used lenses. A lens they rate as Bargain is usable in every respect. With these no name lenses, you'd be, as we say down south, buyin'a pig in a poke. (Poke is an old word for a sack. You can't see what you're getting.)
