The best way to light subject inside house.

I cannot buy pro quality lighting right now, but have antique projector I would love to shoot several pics. of. When there is some window light would 300 watt Reveal light bulbs work if diffused?

  Hi Mary,
I don’t think the reveal bulbs would work for you; I don’t think they are nearly blue enough for a full correction. You might try a lamp with the code BCA, this is almost fully corrected to daylight. Be very careful the Bulb runs extremely hot! This is not an optimum solution, but it may work. You can get the bulb from B&H the website is www.bhphotovideo.com/. Thanks, John Siskin

I have much free time and find myself seeing photos everywhere!!!!!!! THANKS AGAIN!!! MLL.

Hi Mary, thank you! At 50 I sometimes feel like a dinosaur in a digital world, but then I remember all these people need to learn how to light! What was really scary was that I could remember the code for this bulb! Please be careful with the heat. Let me know if this works!
Thanks, John Siskin
Ps. You may like my framing class!

Hey John, I really appreciate hearing from you again:)! I would love the framing class as I cut my finger trying (the hard way) to fix up 4 floral shots for an older woman who has nothing on walls. I was trying to fit 8x12 pic. into 8x10 mat instead had to CUT my pic. Ouch!!! I WILL watch the heat!! MLL.
