How to shoot in the disco
I would liek to know what film and setting should I use while shootin in the kids dancing ?
My camera Nikon F100.
Here are some photos that other parents have done it, and I want to make sure I can get better results.

Depending on how much light is actually there I would use 400 ISO or even 800 ISO for your dark disco pictures. But with the higher ISO's there will also be more "noise" or "grain" so play around with it and see what works for you.

Greetings Vadim: Julie's right, of course, faster ISO films may allow you to work at faster shutter speeds and maybe smaller f-stops too. For shooting this kind of stuff indoors on color negative stock, I usually work with FujiPress ISO 800, but it allows you to use multiple ISOs on the same roll, say 400, 600, even down to 200 or up to 1000 ISO without seeing any appreciable increase in grain struture as with most faster ISO films. I like the FujiPress better than the Kodak version, Ektapress because I think the colors the Fuji delivers are truer under the available, indoor lighting. BUT, looking at the photos you mentioned, I don't really see anything wrong with them in terms of exposure. In fact, I think they're quite good. I noticed some ghosting (dual images) of people in the background although I think that's largely because whoever shot them used a bit of fill-flash and the people were outside the flash range and illuminated by available light. When that happens, the flash will stop the action within the range of the flash but people or moving objects outside that range will appear to be moving, blurred or ghosted depending on how fast they were moving. If you're interested, there are some shots of a dance sequence on my website from Westside Story. It's the shot where two people are plainly lit on center stage as the dancers move around them. Done on FujiPress with available light at ISO 400 and at 1/30th of a sec. f 2.8.
