Pentax lenses

I am thinking about purchasing a 28mm lens for my Pentax ME Super and would like to know if there is anything I should be concerned about as far as the built-in light meter functioning with whatever lens I get. Also if anyone has any recommedations as to brand or any other info regarding this type lens I would appreciate it.

  Hi Kelly;

The ME Super uses the Pentax PK-A lens mount. Any PK or PK-A mount lens will work with your camera. I suggest lenses by Tamron, or (if you can believe this) Focal. Focal lenses were sold through K-Mart. They are high quality lenses that are very inexpensive. There is a shop on ebay called Cameta Camera that usually has a good stock of lenses for your camera.
The people there are very knowledgeable
and helpful. I've purchased two lenses from them. Both were advertised as in good condition, and both were new when delivered. You may also want to check out B&H Photo (www.bhphotovideo.com).

Have fun and keep shooting,
Mark H.
