Mamiya 150mm Soft Focus Lens
For any RB/RZ67 users,.. Mamiya makes the 150mm soft focus lens w-3 inserts. Is the center of lens clear, with softness extending to the edges, or is the entire plane some degree of soft? I've used a filter with clear center , and rest in soft, and I really didn't care for it. Hope there's someone here who has used this lens before. Thanx in advance, mike

The entire image area is affected, the amount depending on which insert you use.

They say you can get the same sharpness from other lenses when you stop down to f/8 or more. Do you find this true? These are a bit cheaper than the 180 I want and didn't know if it would be a nice thing to have if I wanted soft focus (without using photoslop)? thanks michael.
