Some helpful hints for attaching photos into a BP Forum Thread, if you're unfamiliar with the process: 1) Sign into BP. IF YOU HAVEN'T entered the Contest for today, you can use the "Photo ID" method to pull an existing image (from your Member Center) into your Reply here. This avoids a duplicate image upload to your Member Center. Note the Photo ID# of the image you wish to include here (visible in your Member Center) then return to this thread, click Respond, enter the text of your reply, and choose "1" from the images-to-attach drop-down (even though you won't actually be uploading a file.) Click Submit; at the next screen, populate the "Photo ID" field shown over at the right. Skip the other text fields on that screen, check the boxes at the bottom, and Submit. 2) IF YOU HAVE ALREADY entered the Contest for today, you can't use the Photo ID method *today*. Either wait until tomorrow to reply here first, or upload a copy of the image (from your PC) and attach to this thread. This produces a duplicate image in your Member Center; however, you don't have to make that duplicate visible in your Gallery. If you're uploading a duplicate, I suggest titling it "For Forum" so it stands out in your Member Center, for easier housecleaning later on. This can also help nudge BP viewers to go find the original image in your gallery, if they want to leave a comment. Likewise, if you want to add a comment to a photo seen here, first try to tell if it is a duplicate upload. As a courtesy, try to find the original image in the member's gallery and leave your comment there instead of on the duplicate... which may one day be deleted.

And I’m thinking we’ll hear from Nikki more tomorrow. :-) Usman, super variety in your two shots…a great macro and a cool elements/design shot. Love the comp on both, especially the Road Code shot! Nikki, its a neat easy trick that I believe fellow BPer Christopher Budny told me. The process to put more than one thumbnail in your single response in the discussion thread is as follows: Once you have put the ID # in before entering the contest for the day and you are on the next screen which says something like 'the image has been added', just don't close the browser window, use the back arrow button on the browser window, which should take you to the same page where you had initially entered the ID#. All you have to do now is change the ID with the one which you want and press enter again. And voila you'll have two images as thumbnails. You can append as many images as you want by using the back button of the browser window. Its counter intuitive, but it works!!! UB.

Welcome Nikki, Susan, and Martha! BP is going thru the 2nd pass-thru now, for May. I've seen several people comment in the June EP forum too, about May EPs. So, fingers crossed for you...and all of us, for a few more EPs! Nikki, you mentioned "Winter Morn" but posted "Fishing with Dad." I wasn't sure if you meant to post Winter Morn. Regardless, the fishing photo is super..love the sky in this. And you always do good with your b/w photos; no exception with Checkers. Susan, your POTD on Racing the Rain proves you have a great photo...a very cool comp for sure. Martha, I love the sharpness of the foreground flowers...beautiful work for sure. And as a weather guy, I can confirm that the winds change in altitude. Very striking composition.

Congrats to those of you that have picked up new EPs. Based on the EP forum, it's quite possible they have finished the 2nd go-around. Guess we won't truly know until SFs come out, which could be within next couple of days. SFs came out on Mar 26th, Apr 26th, and May 29th. I will predict June 27th.

I did pick up a couple back towards the first part of the month. I had a big block of about 5 or 6 towards the end of the month who got passed over twice. I am happy with what I did get, but we all know it's hard to let go when we think something is good.

I saw Usman sharing the "more than 1 photo" tip -- I think Ken originally told me about that tip -- I know someone did at BP, so I can't take credit as the original discoverer of that feature ;) I only managed 4 entries in May, which means I love them all pretty equally ;) One appears skipped for EP at this point; ouch! Anyway - as the 3 remaining are equally my favorites, I'm going with this shot of the inside of the WV state capitol dome, because it was years ago when I first tried to shoot it and couldn't do it justice back then, so this was a fun repeat visit, with my current wide-angle gear...
