What camera should I purchase next?
Greetings! I currently have a Minolta Qtsi, and I was interested in purchasing a new camera. I love my camera - it's my first - but it seems to limit me. The only manual control I have is the option of manual focus. I would like to stretch and challenge myself to grow with a better camera. I recently looked at a Maxxum 4 and a Maxxum 5. I am adamant about sticking to Minolta, but I would just like an opinion about what camera would be a good purchase. I'm also curious about the Xtsi...if someone could tell me the advantages and differences between the models, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks. Eliza

i have three minolta cameras, all accessories will work with these cameras. I started with the qtsi , bought a htsi-plus, and then an xtsi. I bought the last two used and have had very good luck !the differences are on minoltas website in the comparison chart. the qtsi is very limited, but I already had several lenses, that's why the upgrade. so far the last two cameras can actually do more than I can, still learning!i do love the eye start.if your going pro , and have the money,? maxxum 9 sambo

Eliza: There are so many Maxxum models, it's tough to keep track of their slightly different Specifications. For a major upgrade in cameras, check out the Maxxum 7. Cheers! Peter Burian
