Difference is grades
What is the difference is paper grades? What kind of paper will have the higher contrast?

There are I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) 5 grades. Five being the highest contrast. There are also cool and warm tone papers. The warm tone papers tend to generate a warm, slightly brownish effect. The cool tones generate a slightly blueish effect.

I believe there are 6 grades, 0 through 5, grade 2 is used for normally exposed negatives. But I'm going by a memory filled with semi-useless information, so I may have to be corrected. You may be better off using variable contrast paper. That way, you only stock one paper, and use a variable contrast filter kit (or color enlarger).
