How to compare digital optical zoom to mm zoom?
How do you compare 4x optical telephoto lens to a, say a 58mm telephoto lens. Is there a comparison formula or chart? I have a sony DCS V1 with a 4x optical zoom. Sony offers an additional 58mm optical lens. How will this improve the camera telephoto capability?
