Hi Uday: One filter to try is the polarizer. I'm strictly a color shooter, but this is one verrrry versatile filter that works with both color and b&w. It can darken a blue sky (thus, making clouds pop out), and it can also reduce glare and distracting reflections on most surfaces (i.e., water, glass, foliage, etc.). The polarizer, which turns in a rotating mount, hits its peak effectiveness when you're pointing your camera at a right angle to the sun (NOT when the sun is directly in front or in back of you). But the polarizer also works great on overcast, gray days. It can really beef up the colors by removing the glare. Here's a how-to-use-a-polarizer rundown: - Look through your viewfinder and keep rotating the polarizer until you get the desired outcome. - If you like what you see, go for it! - If you don't like the effect, or if you can't see any change, don't use it. - If you can't decide if you need the polarizer, then shoot the scene both with and without the filter, and compare your results later. Finally, practice, experiment, have fun, and good luck! Kerry
