Recoomendations for buying my first SLR lens
I just bought a Canon EOS Rebel 2000 SLR, but I only bought the body. Can you recommend a reasonbly priced beginers lens for this camera. I like to shop on line as well. Thank you.Keheatto

It depends on your subject matter, but generally, I'd recommend the 50-mm. It will have the advantage of being sharper than a zoom, and cheaper as well. If you like to photograph people, check out Henri Cartier-Bresson's work at peterfetterman.com, an art dealer. His favorite lens was the 50. If you like landscapes, get a 35-mm as your first lens for a wider angle of view.
