Ring Adapters
I'm looking at buying some fliters for my sisters camera. She has a 52mm and a 58mm lens for her EOS Rebel G. I was wondering wether it would be better to buy an adapter that would go from 52mm to 58mm(step up) or 58mm to 52mm(step down). I'm not really very knowledgeable about all the camera stuff although am very interested in learning new things. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lee

It's better to buy the largest filter (in your case, the 58mm ones) and use the step up ring on the smaller lens. Also I would get a 58mm lens caps to put on the lens with the step up ring mounted.
