shooting in a dark nightclub
i have a panasonic digital camera and it takes great pictures outdoors, my questions is how do I get good pictures in a dark night club. Even with the flash they are too dark what iso setting and shutter speed should I use

Hi Melanie, Hmm.. by too dark, you mean the images are sharp, but just not light enough? Which camera model are you using? Assuming it is recent enough, you can probably get a lighter picture by using the flash, a short shutter speed, and by increasing the ISO from 100 to say 200 or 400. That is, if your camera supports it. The other question is whether the flash is in straight up flash during the exposure, at the start of the exposure or at the end of the exposure. Some cameras will adjust the flash power because it picks up the occasional lights in the background and tones down the flash. The other options might be to add a slave flash unit to your digital camera if you can or having to live with photoshop to brighten up the pictures after you take them.(Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, Gimp, etc.)
