Ritajane - are you asking why no EP's after December 29th? If that is the question, the answer is that the judges have not made that far yet. Judging has gone as far as about December 27th, I believe.

And I'm hoping the have not completed the 9th, as my photo on the 9th has no EP. No, Bob, you are not alone, but after the end of the month and they take down the photos I was too lazy to check EP's. I'm just frustrated because if I cannot get a read on what I entered, I don't really want to enter kinds of things they won't like in Feb.

Irene, yes...often. I think they only had 5000 or so photos for January, so it doesn't take them long to catch up. I wouldn't read anything into it. But definitely check that link every now and then as it will help you gauge what day they're on, with EPs, if no one has posted on the EP thread. The link is found on the main "Contest" page.

I did know where to find Editors Picks but for some reason I thought that it would change at the end of one month to current month entries. I do like the static-date oriented lineup. The EP pictures used to be random.

Note that the order is by upload date before date of submission in the contest. So resubs are way back. That doesn't disadvantage them in any way, I'm just pointing that out so people won't think their images are not in the contest or something.

Good point Nikki. However, if they happen to have been selected as an EP in roughly the last three months (The approximate time-span that is included in that file) you won't be able to tell if they are currently selected into this month's candidates or just there due to the previous selection process. If they received the ep badge more than three months ago or received nothing before then if you see them in the ep file list, they are, in fact, alive for this month's contest.

Hi Nikki and eveyone, I have good news for you... WE HAVE NEW MOBILE-FRIENDLY GALLERIES! YES! You may have heard me mention how Google has been pushing everyone to go to mobile-friendly pages because the trend is that viewers are now visiting pages via smartphones and tablets. Even though you might still use a desktop computer to do your photo work, most of the world is going to mobile devices. It's been a long project, but we are now officially launched! With the new design, Google will continue to give your gallery good search engine rankings, and more people will have a better experience viewing your photos. Many BetterPhoto members also requested dark background options; the new galleries offer that as well. Here is a quick video that gives a tour of the new galleries: In the video, I show you how, when you hover over an image or click the "View Details" link, you'll see any CONTEST BADGES too! Yay again!!! :) If you miss certain features, please feel free to email us with "Gallery Wishlist" in the subject line of the email and we will gather all requests. We cannot promise that we will be able to offer every feature, but if enough people vote and there is a possible solution in this new mobile-friendly format, we will do our best to deliver.
