How to get the red stripe out.
I have a CanonAE program, lately with the selector switch on program( thats the only way I take pictures) the pictures come back with a broad red stripe through them, not all the pictures but a great majority of them, can you help?

Could it be light leaks. I had a similar problem with my Canon AT-1 a while ago. Those photos taken in broad day light all had a red strip going from top to bottom. Indoor or night photos had no problem. I sent mine to a repair shop to replace all the light seals and it again works perfectly. Hope this helps.
