	A Place of Peace Arlo Guthrie bought the Trinity Church in Housatonic, MA to form a place that would bring people together for spiritual service as well as cultural and educational sharing. The Trinity Church is where the song “The Alice’s Restaurant Massacree” began and where the movie “Alice’s Restaurant” was filmed. Founded in 1991, The Guthrie Center is dedicated to all those around the world who believe that there is one truth and infinite ways to approach it.
