Frankenfield Covered Bridge

Frankenfield Covered Bridge

---
Frankenfield Covered Bridge is a wooden covered bridge that spans Tinicum Creek in Point Pleasant, Pennsylvania, United States.
----
It was built in 1832, and is a town truss bridge constructed of oak. It is the only covered bridge in Bucks County with side windows.[2] The sign on the Frankenfield covered bridge states that the structure is 130 feet (40 m) long with a clearance of 9.42 feet (2.87 m).
----
Had to remove several chartreuse signs that obscured the view. One such sign was blocking the front of the truck from view. So the grill and bumpers are imagined by me. Shot today.

It was the one in front of the truck that bugged me the most.

WE spent a few hours in NH looking for covered bridges only to find the same things as you did. Most of them have all kinds of ugly signs all over the place...They are tough to get a nice shot also when they are surrounded by lots of yucky bushes etc. Nice job here in spite of it all Michelle!

Beautiful capture Michelle and outstanding job of removing the signage and fixing the front of the truck. I plan to take a tour next year in the fall of all of the covered bridges in Bucks County, can't wait.

I LOVE covered bridges and would drive many miles to see and photograph one . . you have done an amazing editing job . . why do they make those signs just butt ugly.

I am still laughing at your intrepid photographer award remark!!!
