Whence MILK

  Whence MILK
Whence MILK

----
At the Pumpkin Festival last weekend, grandchildren, Jeffrey and April (who live in New York City) had a great opportunity to milk a wooden cow. The cow was filled with some sort of milky water, and the cow's udders were rubber glove fingers with pin holes in them!
----
There was a crowd of "other people's legs and feet" in this shot. I used a combination of cloning and content-aware fill to remove the stray legs, got rid of the shadow on the third child's blue hat, cleaned up the cow a bit, and added saturation to all the colors. (see remarks)

What a fun thing for the kids to do, a wooden milking cow, never heard of it. Love the comparison between the two shots and you have done a stellar job of cloning. Fantastic result Michelle.

Every little kid should do this so that they know where milk comes from. Nice job on all of the cloning, Michelle!

First of all, this is a cool capture showing very amusing behavior from the kids as they are thoroughly engrossed with this cow and the milking process. I applaud your editing as I know it is a labor of love (no content aware fill in PSE, I think). Lastly, it's great story-telling and it is such an expressive capture.

My goodness you saved this image big time with your expertise in PS. Love the concept of milking a fake cow. Who would have thought that was possible.
