This is an interesting technique I learned

1. 2 kinds of grunge;
2. desaturated them;
3. use pattern stamp tool, under to clone tool.
4. Define pattern: Define grunges patterns under "image" in PS
5. Paint each grunge with different blend modes. The blend modes do funky things. For example, overlay lightens the picture.

This technique allows you to grunge with different textures and different blend modes.

  Great editing, the feel of your image is great. I will chack out this process and see what I come up with on one of my own images.
