Welcome to my BetterPhoto.com gallery.

I've enjoyed digital photography since my father got a Kodak DX6340 for my brother in 2003. I started playing around with it and began taking pictures, mostly of my parakeets. When I broke the camera (which I somehow fixed in early 2006) a month after the 1 year warranty expired (around the same time I was just getting interested in the manual mode), I bought my own digital camera: the HP Photosmart 635. I played around with it while learning about photography at Betterphoto.com and experimenting with different types of photography (landscape and nature mostly) when I finally decided that I wanted to continue to grow as a photographer. I needed a more versatile camera, so after doing months of research, I finally decided to get the Fujifilm S5200, a camera I am very happy with. In July of '06 I decided to get a HOYA Close-Up Filter set for my Fuji to move into the area of macros. Now, I mostly shoot wildlife, birds and insects especially, but when I get the chance I'll get out and try my hand at some landscape, which I also enjoy.
