About Pamela Bosch
I loved looking at my mothers photo albums as a child. Taking photographs began when I was in high school using my mother's camera. My passion for photography really skyrocketed after I met a friend who used a 35mm SLR and that was it. I earned a BFA in Photography and went on to earn an MA in the History of Photography. Unfortunately I fell into a default occupation after graduation - the business of health care but my photography never disappeared just competed with jewelry making.
However, my passion for photography was rekindled when digital arrived and I left jewelry making to focus on photography.
My work now is primarily nature based. I explore both expansive and intimate landscapes as each hold captivating beauty and wonder. These two approaches are a juxtaposition of viewpoint from large to small. The majestic sights of expansive landscapes can't be missed. Intimate landscapes are abundant in nature but are rarely visible to most of us. Either way, all landscapes contain delicate to stunning color, intricate pattern and amazing texture. I'm irresistibly drawn to the fascinating details and incredible variety and beauty that nature has to offer. After retirement my goals returned to my fine art roots and I now exhibit work locally. Finding an artist community has been inspirational as well.
