Summit Contest Rules

The 2006 BetterPhoto Summit Contest is open to anyone who is age 18 or above at the time of entry and who has signed up for the 2006 2nd Annual BetterPhoto Summit.

Beginning July 20, 2006, those who sign up for the Summit - or who had signed up previously - may begin submitting photos. Submission is limited to a maximum of one photo per day through September 1, 2006. All entries must be uploaded into BetterPhoto.com by following the instructions provided upon signing up for the Summit.

The following prizes will be awarded at the Summit, and winners must be present to claim their prizes.

Grand Prize
Reimbursement for the following trip expenses:

• Two nights lodging (Friday night, September 15th, 2006, and Saturday night, September 16th, 2006) at the Marriott Redmond Town Center. Note: Receipt required for the special BetterPhoto room rate at the Marriott Redmond, plus tax, in order to receive reimbursement.

• Summit admission ($369 value)

• Airfare (up to $500 maximum). Notes: Airline receipt is required. Reimbursement is limited to air travel to the Seattle airport in order to attend the 2nd Annual BetterPhoto Summit.

Other Prizes

• First Place: Admission to the Summit ($369 value).

• Second Place: Online photography course of his or her choice ($297 value).

• Third Place: Deluxe BetterPholio™ (free year subscription - $209 value).

• Third Place: Five winners! Each receives a Tamrac Velocity 6 camera bag.

Additional Notes

• If a winner is announced, but is not present to accept the prize, that winner will forfeit the prize. An altenate winner will then be announced.

• A panel of professional photographers will judge the entries. The judges' decisions are final.

• By entering the Contest, the entrant acknowledges that the submitted photograph is an original work created by the entrant and that no one else has any right or claim to the photograph. Obscene or otherwise objectionable content will not be considered, with such determination being at the discretion of BetterPhoto.com.

• The photographer retains full copyright to their submitted photos. The photographer agrees to allow BetterPhoto.com, Inc. to use their photos for promotional use and/or display on the BetterPhoto site.

• Contest void where prohibited or restricted by law.
