Donna Moratelli
bio

What kind of photography do you most enjoy?
I enjoy capturing design elements combined with natural light and people.

How long have you been a photographer?
I've been shooting for about 20 years.

What got you started?
I started out as an artist and later found photography to be a much more rewarding medium. I began in high school, shot on and off for years, and then at about the turn of the century, I became a serious photographer scanning images and uploading to sites . Soon after, I began learning about digital capture with my first digital EOS series Canon camera and loved it ever since.

What inspires you?
Fascinating well-composed colorful and conceptual images inspire me and help keep my wheels turning with new ideas. I am inspired when shooting preplanned concepts with cooperative models too.

What are your photography goals?
To continue on, be widely published and well known.

How has BP helped you attain your goals?
That's the million dollar question! What haven't they done? BetterPhoto has helped me in more ways than I could have imagined by always being there and offering constant exposure with the contest, discussions, newsletters, Deluxe BetterPholio, photographer spotlights, POTD, radio shows, and courses. This has all kept me motivated for years shooting the personal work that I enjoy the most, which also has brought editors, buyers, stock agencies and fans to me for years. I have made friendships with other photographers who I believe will be lifelong. The folks at BP truly want to see photographers excel, and the courses are remarkable. The instructors are friendly, talented, down-to-earth people who began the journey just like we did. They are helpful during the courses and even years after a course. I thank BP for everything that they have done to help me achieve my goals. Without them, my dreams may never have been fulfilled.

Jim's teleseminar about Destroying Fear by Getting Clear was very well done and so honest and helpful. Also I'd someday love to meet my instructors in a workshop setting.

Donna's Wish List

Hopefully, soon, I'll be buying a Canon EOS MarkII and a fish-eye lens.I 'd like a very large "old-fashioned" slide light box for studio work, too.
