The Art of Photographing Nature, is a great book.

As a frequent contributor to the great magazine, Outdoor Photographer, and an itinerant photographic expedition leader, Wolfe has a lot of good ideas about making excellent images of nature, wildlife and other cultures. Centered around 35mm photography and stressing the need for artistic composition over technical superpowers, this book is about seeing. It is about interpretation and selection-focusing your senses. Thinking and previsualizing are a central theme to the book, and learning about these key ingredients is always helpful, enlightening and fun. Highly recommended.
