Sharpness is poor. My wife's point and shoot cameras provide better resolution, so that I'm embarrassed to be carrying around my big $1200 camera, and her prints look sharper. The lens extends by gravity when hanging down from a shoulder strap. Autofocusing is sometimes delayed. It gives a great range of focal lengths for the money but results are frustrating. OK for family snapshots.
