The Minolta RD-175 digital camera is the only DSLR ever made by Minolta that uses Maxxum AF lenses. Although the resolution in only 1.75 mega pixels the quality of the lenses greatly increases the quality of the images. I was extremely impressed with the first images I downloaded, not knowing what to expect. The color and quality was impressive considering the resolution. The only drawbacks are the manner in which you have to download the images. It uses PCMCIA ATA type I, II, or III memory cards and requires a SCSI connection to download images. The download process is rather slow and the software simplistic making it a tedious process but the results are worth it.
