Toolbox #3 is my tenth Better Photo class, and the third one (I did them in order) with Lewis. Of all the classes I've taken, and many have been excellent, the Toolbox series stand out as the most important in both my photographic development and in my technical Photoshop skills. I can't believe that I have learned so much in a short time.

Someone's review above talked about the difference from reading a CS2 book and interacting with Lewis's assignments. The difference is incomparable. I'm a fourth grade teacher and Lewis has even helped me with my teaching skills by reminding me to ask questions and to interact and follow directions, no easy task for any of us.

We all live in a world where no one wants to read the manual anymore. Adobe makes theirs so dry that I don't even open the cover. I have a few how-to Photoshop books that show me tricks like sharpening eyes or softening skin. Lewis's instruction is more global and more relevant to overday pictures; skills like creating neutral density filters and masks have really improved my skills, and by doing with each lesson, my addlepated brain can even remember most of what he's taught me in the lesson.

Best of all, Lewis is so accessible, and so timely. It's really important to get feedback, even negative feedback, in a quick manner so that mistakes can be corrected quickly. Today when I uploaded an assignment, it was within an hour or two that he acknowledged receiving it, and I know that within a day or two at the most, a critique will be living in my mailbox.

As others have said, I really look forward to Lewis's new classes, and when he teaches Lightroom, I'm sure that people will be beating down his door to sign up.

Don't hesitate, if you are wondering about any of the Toolbox classes, have no qualms. Lewis is the consummate pro.
